frequently asked questions
I have put this session up to clear some of the questions the clients ask us more often. I really hope you find this section useful, but if you still have any question, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be really glad to hear from you!
• Where can I have my photo shoot taken?
Anywhere you would like, really. Most people want the session to take place at a park near their homes, others want it around Central London. It will depend on what ideas you have.
• What if I want my photos taken in a studio?
I do not own a studio, however, I do own a portable studio kit and will be able to take it to your home, so you can have a studio session in your living room (or kitchen, conservatory, anywhere there is enough space!)
• I have never had a photography session before. How will I know what to do?
First of all, try to relax and enjoy your day. I will do my best to make you feel comfortable and take beautiful pictures. As I keep my sessions as natural as can be to get the spontaneous smiles and poses, you will not be forced to pose in a way that will make you uncomfortable. Don't worry, I will be there to help you and guide you, if needed be.
• My children are very energetic and will not sit still during the photoshoot. What can I do?
Kids are a blessing, aren't they? I am a mother to a very energetic (believe me, VERY energetic!) three-year-old and I am absolutely comfortable and more than happy to photograph kids in any setting. Also, their portraits are fun and interesting because they do not sit still. So on your photoshoot, relax and let them be "in control" (of the poses!) and I guarantee we will all have a lot of fun!
• I want to have a photoshoot in a London landmark. Will you do it?
Absolutely. I love photographing in Central London. As an "adopted child" of this city, I love every aspect of it and the photos in the landmarks are stunning! Just let me tell you that to photograph in some places we need a permission from the council or from the management department, so we will need to have the session after getting this document. You do not have to do anything, as I will make sure we have everything for your photoshoot to be very special (and we do not have any trouble with the guards!)
• I have seen a gorgeous photo on Pinterest. will you do something similar in my photoshoot?
Absolutely! It is your photoshoot, so all your suggestions will be taken into account.
• How many photos will I get on the DVD?
It depends. On my packages I give you the minimum number of images you may have on the DVD, but the number is usually higher. For instance, the package Portrait I will give you a minimum of 10 photos on the DVD, but you may get 12, 15 or even 20.
• Will I be able to print the photos on the DVD and/or share them online?
Absolutely! You will have the consent note on your DVD and you will be able to print as many images as you would like and share in all the social media platforms.
• Can I have extra copies of the DVD? How much will you charge?
Sure, you can. And you will not be charged for extra copies of the DVD.
• How can I book a session with you?
Ideally, we would meet to have a chat (and a cup of coffee) and discuss the details of your photoshoot, but you can also book online or by phone.
• Do you require a deposit?
Yes. To secure your booking, I require a 50% deposit.
